First group shows of 2012

Added on 20 March 2012

Now that Winter is beggining to finally die off, and the days and nights warm up, I have been able to paint without losing feeling in my fingers. In the past 3 week's i've managed to do a workshop in Henley with about 15 kids, teaching them the basics of can control, and spraying stencils, as well as producing a demo piece which went better than expected given the circumstances (rain, cold, screaming kids).

Once that was out of the way it was time to focus on exhibitions: First cut at WestBank, and Crossing Borders at the MSA gallery. Both are galleries I have spoken to numerous times about getting work in, but due to my own commitments never had the time, I figured 2012 was a better time than any to change that.

Each work I have done for the shows has been done exclusively for them, with unique colour ways, and different feel's for each piece. It's great to get back into the swing of painting, and finding my love for it whichi seemed to burn out due to the non stop work for the solo.

Aside from all this, I have been working on lots of street work, which is way overdue. So once the cutting is done, i'm going to be travelling around, getting up as much as possible. All the new work will appear on here, so keep checking back.
